They are important to explore in order to live your life here and now - to be with what is, always, with everything.Every attitude that we go through will begin with a short film with Jon Kabat-Zinn. You can read more about him in this article from the Guardian.Do the following exercise:1) Listen to the introduction by Jon Kabat-Zinn (2,54 min).2)a) Which attitude have you changed the most since you started practising mindfulness and training your brain?b) Which attitude have you had the most joy of changing?c) Which attitude have you had the most benefit of changing?d) Choose one of the attitudes that affects you at this very moment and meditate on it for five minutes. ACCEPTANCE2. NON-JUDGING3. PATIENCE4. TRUST5. NON-STRIVING6. BEGINNER’S MIND7. LETTING GO8. GRATITUDE9. GENEROSITYFor brief explanations of the nine attitudes, see this link.
This is a deepened exploration of how communication and interaction affect individuals, teams and the organisation. And we will connect your concrete working situation with your shift in awareness. What degree of awareness do you have regarding intention vs effect on each other? What do you need to understand about yourself and your team to increase cooperation and to conduct meetings in a successful way?How are you affected physically, emotionally, mentally and intuitively and how can you increase your awareness so that it supports dialogue and listening as well as giving and receiving feedback? The basis for co-operation and collaboration is to be centered and focused so please take away all distractions during the training sessions.
The purpose of this module is to support the insights you have gained in self-awareness and relational awareness.Radical presence is about being fully present in every moment.- fully present with yourself and fully present with others.- fully present to make the right choice at each moment. With radical presence, you can distinguish what is essential knowledge and information at the moment and what is not. When you lose your presence, the ability to distinguish what is important at the moment decreases. In times of stress, pressure, uncertainty and high rates of change, the brain has a fear-based tendency to over-analyse what has already happened and what could happen in the future. The brain easier makes unconscious choices. In the basic programme(s), you increased your ability to be aware. Now it is important to maintain the ability - being present with the physical, emotional, mental and intuitive systems in you, over and over again. Being present with another person and to be present with several people at the same time.In this module, you will support your ability to distinguish what is fact/content, feelings and possible identity issues in you and in others.Presence with your surroundings requires training - to be able to recognise and read the inner systems of others and the moods of others at the moment. The ability to be fully present in the moment will change your everyday life. With full presence, reality becomes clearer and the relation to others simpler. Letting go of the past and the future and just being in the present creates contact, joy, harmony and efficiency. The training in Radical Presence is based on strengthening your insights about what makes you more present and what takes you out of presence. One way to increase awareness is to slow things down. The guiding star in this module is therefore about being slow. Presence and awareness in leadership are, as you know, based on being in contact with yourself - your body, your thoughts and your emotions. It will be easier if you do things at a slower pace so you will experience a lot of slowness in this module. Over the next few weeks, you are invited to explore living with even more presence, kindness and awareness in your work life through various exercises, suggestions to explore and last but not least reminders to meditate. You will meet a course leader three times. In addition, you will receive e-mails regularly with simple and inspiring exercises that deepens and simplifies the integration of awareness and presence into your everyday life. Please prepare the following:a) Bring your mobile phone to the sessions with the course leader.b) If you haven't already - download the Minds Unlimited app. See the group code in this confirmation.c) Prepare your notebook and have it next to you as you do the exercises. Write down insights or reflections as they come to you. Also bring the notebook to the teacher-led sessions.Look out for the e-mails ahead - Radical presence!
